The driver of a car is dead after the vehicle was hit by a CN freight train in Colborne Friday evening.
Northumberland County OPP report a 55 year old woman from Gravenhurst was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision occurred at around 6:30 at Ontario Street in Colborne.
An investigation is underway.
