After helping to guide the Mississauga Steelheads to the OHL Championship Series this year, former fish GM James Boyd is headed to Ottawa.
Boyd, who spent two seasons playing with the Belleville Bulls and five seasons coaching here, has been named the new GM of the Ottawa 67s, where he also played one season.
Boyd has spent the last 10 seasons as part of the Mississauga franchise as a coach and general manager, after working with the Toronto St. Mikes Majors from 2004 to 2007.
During his playing career in Belleville, he amassed 41 goals and 45 assists, during 125 regular season appearances.
