Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee will make recommendations regarding part of a new housing development at its meeting later today.
Developers of the Settler’s Ridge subdivision are asking that land be re-zoned to allow for single family houses instead of the originally proposed 17 townhouses in Phase 2 of the project.
City staff is recommending the rezoning be allowed.
However, the developers also want a block of land now zoned for commercial use to also be re-zoned to allow for single family houses.
Staff is recommending the committee deny that request.
Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee meets at 5:30 today (Monday) at City Hall.
