A local business that offers First Aid training to businesses and individuals will be bringing a new brand of safety courses for kids to the community.
Be Prepared, based out of Belleville, has recently partnered up with SOS 4 Kids to start up the first of these courses, called Home Alone Safety for Kids. It’s a comprehensive safety program that helps children and their families get ready for the first steps towards independence.
The course is offered to children ages 9 to 13 and teaches them about people safety, fire safety, house rules, online safety, accident prevention and first aid.
