Belleville Police came to the aid of some citizens who had a knife pulled on them in Belleville early Saturday morning.
At around 3 a.m., police were called to the area of Church Street by St. Andrews Church after the citizens reported that an unknown man was following them and eventually pulled a large knife on them. The citizens reportedly offered money and their belongings to the man, but he did not take them. He then fled after the citizens called 911.
The suspect was described as very intoxicated.
The man is described as being in his mid 20s, white, 6’2, thin build, short hair and stubble. He was wearing a black and white trucker style hat, black hoody with zipper on front, black track pants and was carrying a black and blue book bag.
