A Belleville man has been charged after leaving the scene of a single vehicle accident early Saturday morning.
Just before 3 a.m., police were called to Moira Street East, where a vehicle had crashed and failed to remain at the scene.
The vehicle was quickly located a short distance away by officers.
Adrian Hernandez 27 of Belleville is charged with fail to remain at the scene of an accident, impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with over 80mgs of alcohol in his blood.
He suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Hernandez was released from custody and will appear in court on June 22.
