A helicopter from CFB Trenton’s 424 Search and Rescue Squadron joined an OPP chopper in searching for a missing Prince Edward County man.
While the OPP chopper flew in the Rossmore area during the day yesterday, it was joined by the military helicopter for nighttime searches using heat detection devices last night.
24 year old David Franks has been missing since very early Thursday morning after going out for a jog on County Road 28.
Franks was in training to be a police officer and was wearing a weighted vest while jogging, similar to flak jackets worn on a daily basis by police.
The search continues today (Tuesday).
