A Deseronto native has been awarded Canada’s Meritorious Service Medal.
67 year old Jack Moon, who now lives in Georgetown, is the co-founder of the charitable
organization, Bladder Cancer Canada.
That organization, which provides support and information to bladder cancer patients, began back
in 2009.
Jack Moon will receive his medal from the Governor-General this fall.
