Belleville police were busy with domestic incidents last night (Friday).
At 7:30 last night, police received a 9 1 1 call, but the caller hung up quickly.
It was known that the call came from a Cedar Street residence in the west end.
A 31 year old Belleville man was charged with assault. The victim, a woman, was not injured.
Meanwhile, a 24 year old Belleville man faces 2 charges of assault and breach of probation after a domestic incident last night (Friday) on Isabel Street in the west end.
City police responded to the residence after 10 last night, and it was alleged a woman and a baby had been assaulted.
There were no injuries.
