Anyone living along the shores of the Bay of Quinte or Lake Ontario has been dealing with high water levels this spring, much higher than normal, and things won’t be getting any better today.
With about 3 inches of rain in the past couple of days, and some more on the way today, flooding on low lying properties will get worse and local creeks will run over their banks even more.
To add to the flooding and erosion problems will be gusty winds today.
