The missing person case involving 70-year-old Marjorie Lucas of Quinte West and her dog Casey has come to a close.
In a press release Monday, Northumberland OPP have officially identified the body of a person, washed up in Lake Ontario near Grafton last Thursday, as that of Lucas.
Four days earlier, her dog Casey was discovered washed up near Presqu’ile Park in Brighton.
A postmortem has concluded that foul play was not involved in their deaths.
Lucas had been missing since March 25.
