Prince Edward OPP have laid several charges against a Tudor-Cashel Township man, following an investigation Friday night.
Officers spotted a car on County Road 49 in Sophiasburgh, one which appeared to be in a state of disrepair.
They tried to pull over the driver, however he took off, and police called off the chase for public safety.
A short time later the vehicle was located abandoned on County Road 35, near Highway 49.
Officers with the Emergency Response Team and the Canine Unit joined the investigation and later in the evening 33 year old Nathaniel Dobratz was charged with flight from police.
Dobratz also has outstanding warrants with Napanee and Belleville Police.
