The numbers are in from last weekend’s Hospice Quinte Gala and organizers say they’re “amazed at the generousity of donors”.
Hospice Quinte announced today the Under The Big Top event raised a total of $102,163 through ticket sales, corporate sponsorship and silent and live auctions on the weekend.
Of that total, $13,000 was raised to move forward with plans to build a new residential hospice in the Quinte Region, which has been a longstanding dream for the organization.
Hospice Quinte supports terminally ill patients and their families by offering help in various areas, companionship, as well as bereavement and other services.
