There was a brief power outage in the downtown area of Belleville last night.
A hydro vault near the Empire Theatre caught fire just before 10 o’clock.
The Belleville Fire Department and Veridian crews responded.
The fire was put out quickly and power was restored in a short time.
No one was injured.
