North Hastings will be getting two new doctors this year, thanks to the Hastings County doctor recruitment program.
The two resident doctors at the Queens Medical Centre in Belleville have each received a $150,000 scholarship from the county and will practise in Bancroft, starting this fall.
The married duo of Eric Blanchard and Jenny Gerasimoff are the 13th and 14th doctors to sign on to the program.
They are both in family medicine and Gerasimoff will also serve at the North Hastings Hospital emergency department as well.
