A local entrepreneurship group will be able to rev up some programming, thanks to federal dollars.
Quintevation announced on Thursday, it’s been awarded $125,000 through the federal Eastern Ontario Development Fund and the Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation.
Quintevation Chair Ryan Williams tells Quinte News, the money will help with a number of initiatives.
Northumberland CFDC Executive Director Wendy Curtis tells Quinte News, it’s a smart investment, since the CFDC is all about fostering collaboration between businesses in rural Ontario.
During his speech, Quintevation Chair Ryan Williams noted the one of Quintevation’s goals is to make the Quinte Region a national example of how economic development and entrepreneurship can be successful in rural areas.
