At the BDIA office downtown Thursday, dignitaries and stake holders were on hand for the ribbon cutting, for the completion of Phase 2 of the downtown revitilization.
Belleville Mayor Taso Christopher cut the ribbon and says it is a big day.
Edie Haslauer, Chair of the Belleville Downtown Improvement Area, says it is a special time to be in the village.
Front Street now has new water and waste water infrastructure, sidewalks, lighting and brick work between Victoria Avenue and Bridge Street, along with Campbell and part of Victoria.
