Belleville will be the site of the first coaching clinic conducted by FL Hockey. It’s taking place August 5th and 6th and will feature Ottawa Senators Associate Coach and Belleville native Marc Crawford as the keynote speaker.
Crawford says he was influenced into a coaching career while attending the Roger Neilson clinic in Windsor. That’s where he spent time with the late Calgary Flames coach Bob Johnson.
The former Stanley Cup winning coach and Jack Adams Trophy winner will share his experiences.
Other guest speakers will include former Belleville Bulls coaches Jim Hulton, James Boyd, Jamie Pringle and Jake Grimes.
Coaches who register will receive 3 points towards their coaching development as this event is sanctioned by Hockey Canada. The cost is $125 with some of the proceeds going to the Floyd and Pauline Crawford benevolent fund for Belleville Girls and Boys Minor Hockey.
