Belleville firefighters were called into action late last night.
Just before 11 o’clock, drivers on the 401 reported a grass and vehicle fire on the side
of 401 eastbound near Highway 37.
Firefighters responded and had both fires out within a half an hour.
The van was destroyed but the occupants managed to get out safely.
