A man is in hospital, suffering from severe burns, after a strange incident near Kaladar yesterday.
OPP were called to a business, near Highway 7 around 8:20 a.m. and found the owner with life threatening injuries.
Local fire departments, the Fire Marshal, Ministry of Labour and OPP all investigated and determined that when the man opened a wood stove to add more wood, a nearby can of paint thinner ignited, causing the burns.
There’s been no update on his condition and his identity was not released.
