An Ottawa report says police held a major undercover investigation near the Ottawa home of Russell Williams for someone stealing women’s underwear.
The National Post says Ottawa police are reviewing all cases possibly connected to Williams, including several lingerie breakins. One dates back to January, 2005 at an Ottawa apartment building, and police were concerned by October, 2008 the behaviour of whoever was responsible for the underwear thefts could escalate to something more serious. It is alleged police found more than 500 pairs of women’s undergarments in Williams’ Ottawa home in February, just after he was arrested and charged with two counts of first degree murder and sexual assault.
