The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board is sharing results from the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO).
The ALCDSB is pleased to see growth in both Grade 3 and Grade 6 EQAO results.
This growth reflects the hard work of students, educators, and families, as well as targeted programming to better support student learning, such as the Math Action Plan.
In addition, the Grade 9 math and Grade 10 literacy scores remained consistent with numbers in previous years, demonstrating ongoing stability and commitment to student achievement at the secondary level.
“We are proud of our students and their progress,” said Sonya Melim, Superintendent of Education. “Guided by our Catholic values and our commitment to academic excellence and well-being of every student, we will celebrate this growth and continue to focus our efforts and resources to areas where improvement is needed the most.”
