Tyendinaga Township is letting motorists driving between Belleville and Napanee know just where they are.
C-A-O Steve Mercer says 18 signs, with the wording “Welcome to Tyendinga Township, Rural Living at it’s Best,” have been put up at 18 entrances to the municipality. Four were posted last autumn, and the other 14 went up over the past month. The signs cost 12-thousand dollars, and were supplied by D-M Enterprises of Belleville.
