A date has been set for a public meeting on the proposal allowing Good Friday store openings in Prince Edward County.
Council will host the session at Shire Hall in Picton on April 27th. Council could be prepared to approve the bylaw amendment at that time, making the Friday before Easter one of six statutory holidays any retail business in the county can operate on. A thirty-day appeal period will come into affect if the bylaw is approved.
