Northumberland-Quinte West MP Rick Norlock has told Brighton Council he doesn’t play favourites with infrastructure dollars.
Brighton staff previously prepared a report showing the municipality received 753-thousand dollars in infrastructure funding, a distant last place compared to other municipalities in the riding.
Norlock explained the federal funding to council, and said municipalities usually ask for ten times as much as is available. He said the successful projects were picked based on meeting criteria.
