Yet another Ontario Municipal Board Hearing is planned for Prince Edward County..
The board will hold a prehearing at Shire Hall in Picton on February 23rd to try to resolve a dispute between the Friends of East Lake and County Council.
The Friends filed an appeal last summer of council’s decision to rezone property on the lake for a 237-cottage subdivision proposed by Cottage Advisors of Canada. A request by the company for the appeal to be dismissed was denied in November. A full hearing on the appeal will be held if there isn’t a resolution at the prehearing.
