Fraud charges against a Trenton woman over complaints about a Trenton flooring contractor in Durham Region, east of Toronto, have been dropped.
An official with the Attorney General’s Ministry says Angela Brown no longer faces the charges, laid by Durham Police in July, 2008.
However, Stephen Brown of Steve Brown Floor Coverings will appear in Oshawa court this Friday to face fraud-related charges.
Police laid the charges after investigating over a dozen complaints from residents of Oshawa and Clarington about work they paid for, but that wasn’t done.
