About 32-percent of the population in our area has been vaccinated against the H1N1 influenza pandemic.
Officials with the Hastings and Prince Edward Health Unit say this is typical for any flu season. Director of Communical Disease Control Wayne Tucker told the Board of Health today that 48-thousand-387 H1N1 shots were given at 85-clinics. Tucker says this is comparable to other flu seasons.
