A Brighton company has discovered an air purification system will eliminate the swine flu virus when airborne.
D-L Services says the “LeVOCC” system was tested using the Puerto Rico 8 strain of the H-1-N-1 virus, and it was eliminated from the air after half an hour of running the system in a controlled environment.
The lab’s report says the LeVocc is able to wipe out the R-N-A of a virus, the genetic building block of the organism.
D-L C-E-O Roger Leblanc says his company will consider manufacturing the system in Brighton, and its effect on other viruses continues to be tested.
