A hand-to-hand drug transaction in Brighton has been broken up, with two local men arrested.
A Northumberland O-P-P Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau officer noticed a man giving suspected marijuana to another man yesterday afternoon.
Three ounces of pot, some plants and just over a pound of dried marijuana were seized, with a value of 50-thousand dollars.
58-year-old Gary Cook of Barcovan Beach and 28-year-old John Lemon of Brighton were charged with trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking. They will appear in court next month.
