A meeting is set for next week to bring the public up to date on the slow-moving Meyer’s Pier project in Belleville. CAO Steve Hyndman admits the cleanup and re-design…which was initially to be wrapped up in late March will extend well into the summer….but, work is progressing. Hyndman says the pier won’t look exactly as planned when the project started beause of some of the unforseen circumstances. Project Manager Judy Beauchamp (Beech-um) of Stan-Tec says the public meeting is set for next Monday at City Hall.
