A Trenton music teacher is headed to jail for one year for sexually assaulting a 13-year old girl last summer. Justice Geoff Griffin sentenced the 28-year-old man in court yesterday…calling him a “pitiful individual”. The Intell reports Griffin said his apology to the girl and her family last week appeared to be “genuine and sincere and carried some weight. The crown was seeking a 2-year term behind bars. The man’s name can’t be released to protect the victim’s identity.
