Quinte West OPP is warning you about another potential scam. Some local residents are receiving emails with a banner from Canada Revenue Agency stating they’re eligible for a tax refund. The letter is signed by Gilles Dompierre of the Department of Revenue, Canada. You are requested to disclose your social insurance number and answer specific questions. Police say this is not genuine and OPP ask you to not respond to such requests
