A 28 year old Belleville man is facing a number of charges after being arrested twice by city police in an 8 hour span.
In the first incident… the unidentified man… was taken in around 5pm yesterday on charges of break and enter, mischief and theft under 5000 dollars… but was released on a promise to appear with conditions.
Then at 1:00 this morning… he was arrested again… this time for assault causing bodily harm and breach of undertaking and probation.
Details of the second incident are scarce… but police say a female victim was treated at Belleville General Hospital for her injuries.
The suspect is being held until his first court appearance on Monday.
