A group of Prince Edward County winery operators has launched an appeal of the county’s new winery policy with the Ontario Municipal Board.
The bylaw, approved last month, designates farm wineries and estate wineries, and includes a number of regulations on operations and future expansion.
There has been no comment yet from a group spokesperson as to why it appealed to the O-M-B, and no O-M-B hearing has yet been scheduled.
