A Trenton-area custom and commercial millwork manufacturer has plans for a big expansion.
A building permit was issued to Mirmil Limited to construct a 21-thousand square foot, 1.6-million-dollar addition for manufacturing space at its location on Stockdale Road.
The Quinte West Chief Building Official, Ron Wardaugh, says 51 permits, including Mirmil’s, were approved last month, for projects worth 5.6-million dollars.
There has been 35-million dollars in construction activity in Quinte West so far this year, down from 44-million at this time in 2008.
