The Crowe Valley Conservation Authority wants Trent Hills to lease the Crowe Bridge Conservation Area, northeast of Campbellford.
The motion, approved by the authority’s board of directors, also includes a stipulation the lease, which will cover the annual property-related costs, be reviewed after one year.
Another option, selling the park to Trent Hills at below-market value price has been rejected by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Trent Hills council will make a decision on the leasing option, and the Campbellford-Seymour Conservation Foundation is also interested in buying the park if council rejects the idea..
