It’s familiar territory for native protestor Shawn Brant….he’s back in a courtroom today for a bail hearing in connection with a 6-day blockade earlier this month at the SKyway Bridge near Deseronto. The 44-year old Brant was one of 13 protestors arrested by Tyendinaga First Nations Police on the morning of June 12th. Most of the others have been released but Brant was held in custody. He spent most of last summer behind bars and was released on the condition he not participate in any blockades or illegal protests.
