A Belleville woman convicted earlier this year in a horrific case of child abuse has reportedly been given permission to move to St. Catherines. 24-year old Magan Muir forced the hands of a 2-year old boy into a pot of boiling water at an Applewood Drive apartment in October, 2007 and pled guilty to assault causing bodily harm this year. Muir was given an 18-month sentence to be served at home and the punishment was critisized in the community. Today’s Intell reports, Muir is now being permitted to move in with her family in the Niagara area and that’s resulted in outrage from the little boy’s mother. Tina Reddom questions how a criminal can choose where she’s going to live adding her son Damon hasn’t recieved one ounce of justice in the case. Reddom says her son will see specialists, psychiatrists and therapists for years.
