The Loyalists have landed.
The United Empire Loyalists who landed in Adolphustown 225 years ago were celebrated at an historic site yesterday (SAT).
The United Empire Loyalist Centre and Heritage Park in Adolphustown was the site of an all-day reenactment, complete with drills, laying of wreaths and live staged battles on and off the water.
Hundreds of visitors and costumed participants flocked to the site from the United States and Canada for the weekend-long event.
