It’s the first normal morning in a week’s time, for people who usually drive the Skyway bridge at Deseronto.
OPP say the bridge, which had been closed for 6 days due to barricades by some Tyendinaga Mohawk protestors, is open to traffic this morning.
Meanwhile, Tyendinaga Mohawk Police have released a long list of names, and charges, in connection with the sometimes violent blocade.

43 year old Paul Van Hooser, of Amherstview, 37 yer old Charles Kloestra of Tyendinaga, 38 year old John Boots of Akwesasne, a 17 year old from Shannonville, and 42 year old William Harten of Tyendinaga.
Charged with mischief only, 28 year old Terry Maracle of Tyendinaga, a 16 year old, 65 year old George Zachariah of Tyendinaga, a 17 year old, 45 year old Dave Barberstock of Deseronto, 19 year old Brenden McLaughlin of Tyendinaga, and 30 year old Benjamin Loft of Tyendinaga.
Charged with mischief and breach of conditions was 44 year old Shawn Brant of Tyendinaga.
There were a few injuries during police action to take the down the barricades yesterday, and it’s reported there are bullet holes in the Tyendinaga Police Chief’s personal truck.
