The body of the latest Canadian soldier to die in Afghanistan is due to arrive at 2 o’clock at C-F-B Trenton.
Twenty-year-old Private Alexandre Peloquin was killed Monday by a roadside bomb while on foot patrol southwest of Kandahar City.
Peloquin was based at C-F-B Valcartier near Quebec City and is the 119th Canadian soldier to die in the Afghan mission.
Governor General Michaelle Jean and Chief of Defence Staff General Walt Natynczyk will be among the dignitaries on hand today.
