From the “you can’t please everyone, all the time” file….construction workers building the expansion at Belleville General Hospital…are angry with new restrictions on parking near the site on several streets.
An unidentified worker told our newsroom that the whole neighborhood is basically a no parking zone for the workers, and that they’ll have car pool to get to work, or park in far away commercial parking lots.
Meanwhile, Belleville Council introduced the restrictions recently because of a rash of complaints from neighborhood residents who didn’t like vehicles parked in front of their houses all day, all week.
