Golfers will love a huge residential development proposed for Wellington.
Kaitlin Group of Toronto wants an official plan amendment to change the designation of 260 acres on Belleville Road from rural to special residential and open space.
The development would be a maximum of 400 units, including single detached homes, semi-detached dwellings, townhouses and apartments, surrounded by an 18-hole golf course.
The Prince Edward County Planning Public Council will consider the amendment when it meets next Wednesday night.
