Prince Edward County Council is looking to the provincial government to borrow some money. Council is asking for a 4 million dollar loan to build the new arena complex in Wellington, and another 2.6 million dollars for a 2.8 million dollar purchase of a large aggregate quarry on the Ridge Road. One of the owners of that property now is Ben Prinzen. Mayor Leo Finnegan says the 187 acres will yield sand and gravel for County use for many years.
