The crown will be seeking first degree murder charges against a Warkworth man and a 15-year old co-accused as the preliminary hearing against the pair continues. 35-year-old Marc Vickers was originally charged with “accessory” in June of last year after the body of Michelle Barnoski was found buried on her property, two weeks after she disapeared. That charge was upgraded to second degree murder and now the crown indicates the charge against him and the boy may be upgraded again. Vickers and the teen had nothing to say in Cobourg court yesterday.
