Belleville has handed over another large chunk of money it has pledged for the Tri-County Healthcre Foundation. At city council last night Mayor Neil Ellis presented a cheque for 350-thousand dollars to Foundation Chair Lyle Vanclief. It’s part of two-million dollar pledged over seven years. Vanclief says it’s for diagnostic equipment already in place at three hospitals. This includes the M-R-I at Belleville General, and a Catscan at Trenton Memorial. The Foundation is raising 10-million toward a total 22-million for the equipment.
