Two men are being held for bail today on numerous charges after a shoplifting incident turned ugly at the Belleville Walmart store. The pair were caught stealing automotive parts late yesterday morning. One of the suspects assaulted the security person during the arrest and kicked a hole in the office wall. Police recovered a small amount of cocaine on the second male. It was learned that the first male had driven the vehicle despite having a “lifetime driving prohibition” and the vehicle was automatically seized for 45 days.
