Eric Lawlor of the Ministry of Agriculture Office in Brighton says production levels shouldn’t be greatly affected, but it will be a later season since the early varieties are usually ready by now..
Lawlor says temperatures in the mid-20’s are needed for the berries to mature on schedule, for mid-to-late June.
