A man in his early 50’s is dead after being found unconscious inside his burning home in Trenton. Quinte West Fire Chief John Whalen says crews from Station One responded to 79 Nelles Avenue, just before 5am, and could see the night-sky lit up as they approached the small bungalow. Whalen says neighbors spotted the occupant passed out inside and pulled him out where firefighters and paramedics resuscitated him….he later died at TMH. A cause hasn’t been determined and investigators remain on scene. The home was seriously damaged.
